Youth Fitness Assessment Day

The date has been set:
Saturday, March 2oth 2010 is the first Athletic Revolution Champions Assessment Day
From 10:00 am to 1:00 pm a group of Athletic Revolution athletes will display their athleticism in front of friends, family and neighbors.
This is a big deal and here is why…

Testing Youth Fitness and Sports Performance

All to often youth fitness programs assess their young athletes by measuring flexibility, strength, speed, power etc while using adult protocols including 1 rep max tests (or adjusted 1 rep max), sit and reach, shuttle runs and vertical jump…to name a few.
Watch this video to find out why this approach does NOT work when working with developing, young athletes.
