Pembroke Youth Fitness Coach Earns ‘Best in the World’ Title
Area Young Athletes Benefit From World-Class Expertise
In February of 2010, Pembroke-based Youth Fitness Specialist, Dave Gleason was named ‘Trainer of the Year’ by the International Youth Conditioning Association (IYCA).
No easy accomplishment, Gleason was selected above the other 2,700 IYCA certified professionals due to his passion and dedication towards effective youth sports training.
There are IYCA certified professionals in 50+ countries worldwide.
Gleason added to his list of accomplishments this past week by obtaining the IYCA’s ‘Level 3’ certification, becoming one of only 7 professionals worldwide to reach this level of education.
“To say that Dave Gleason is a dedicated and conscientious professional would be an incredible understatement” said Brian Grasso.
Grasso is the Founder and CEO of the International Youth Conditioning Association.
Grasso, who has appeared in Newsweek, the New York Times, ESPN, ABC News and Men’s Health for his role in spearheading the worldwide movement towards proper training for young athletes, has trained more than 20,000 kids and teenagers around the globe.
“Pembroke and area residents should be very proud of Coach Gleason. He is one of the very best in the world. Having access to a man like that is not typical and will change everything about the training habits of young athletes in his area” Grasso continued.
Gleason is Head Coach and owner of the Pembroke-based Athletic Revolution.
Athletic Revolution is the only training center in the world that works exclusively with young athletes on speed, strength, flexibility and agility for the purpose of sports performance.
“I’m absolutely honored” stated Gleason.
“The ability to work with young athletes and help them improve in sports is something I take very seriously and have unlimited passion for”.

Dave, I’m very proud of you, not only for this but for your kindness, understanding and persistence in helping others.
Fitness is really important for the sports person and this is all on fitness coach. I think sports coaching is the best job.
